Product Description
Sound Barriers (also known as Noise Walls, Noise Barriers, Noise Fences or Sound Barrier Walls) have been made of a number of different materials over the years. Noise barriers are solid obstructions built between noise sources, be it highway noise or air conditioning equipment, that are designed to be “line of sight” interruptions between the noise source and the receiver.

FAQ
1.What is an overpass soundproofing fence?
A lightweight acoustic fence fitted along a pedestrian or road overpass so that noise from the structure and the traffic below is screened from nearby buildings.
2.Why is a lightweight panel needed on an overpass?
An overpass parapet often has limited reserve capacity, so panel dead load and wind load are key constraints and lighter systems such as aluminium or transparent panels are preferred.
3.What height is effective on an overpass?
The useful height depends on the geometry between the source, the fence and the receiving facade, and is normally confirmed by calculation for the specific location.
4.Can the fence be transparent for sightlines?
Yes – transparent panels are often used on overpasses to keep visibility for pedestrians and road users while still providing acoustic screening.
